We are looking for a Quality Inspector for a manufacturing facility located in North York area (Keele/ Finch) .
Must have minimum 1 year experience to work as a Quality Inspector. Please apply with your updated resume (in WORD or PDF format).
JOB DUTIES:
• Ensure parts / products match drawings
• Check, identify and record deficiency of any part / product use red tag as required
• Apply appropriate quality stickers as required
• Update receiving inspection forms and maintain inspection records
• Issue Quality reports and maintain Quality Report Log
• Follow up with production, engineering and buyers on RGA (Return Goods Authorization)
• Follow up with supervisors as required for the implementation of ISO9001 Quality System
• Un-strap & strap products on skids
SKILLS REQUIRED:
• Ability to read and understand drawing dimensions and tolerances
• Knowledge in the use of measurement instruments callipers, feeler & angle gauge to measure parts
• Ability to read, write and speak in English
• Able to write reports and deal with all departments
• Computer literate, basic knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, Google Forms etc
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs is required for inspecting incoming parts / products
• Consistently follow all safety requirements and demonstrate good initiatives for working safely
• Knowledge of Quality Standards
